At Smoke Rise Baptist Church, the responsibility of leadership is vested in our Pastors/Elders. They are men that have been called by God to the biblical office of Elder/Pastor and who meet the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3 & Titus 1. SRBC is not a single Pastor/Elder led church. Instead, it is led by multiple Pastors/Elders that utilize the gifts given them by The Spirit to lead and serve, whether that be in the pulpit, on the mission field, in administration, ect.

The term “Pastor” and “Elder”  are used interchangeably in scripture to refer to the same biblical office. Therefore, in keeping with the Scripture, our pastors devote their time to prayer, the ministry of the Word (by teaching and encouraging sound doctrine), and shepherding God's people under their care.
